In-person:
- Dress one level more formal than the company’s everyday dress code
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early
- Maintain steady eye contact, a firm handshake, and open body language
Virtual (Zoom/Teams/Google Meet):
- Test your internet connection, camera, and microphone beforehand
- Choose a quiet, well-lit location with a neutral background
- Look at the camera (not the screen) when speaking, to simulate eye contact
- Dress professionally from the waist up and just in case, from the waist down too
